Untutored Life Drawing Weekend
These sessions provide a relaxed environment for artists of all skill levels to practice drawing the human form from observation, working through short and long poses with their own materials and approach.
What to expect
Life model: a professional model will be present to hold poses.
No formal instruction: there will be no teacher guiding the drawing process, allowing for individual interpretation and practice.
Varying poses: sessions typically include short poses (e.g., 2–10 minutes) and longer poses (e.g., 20–120 minutes).
Studio space: you will be provided with space, easels, drawing boards, and basic drawing materials such as paper of two sizes and pencils.
Who is it for?
All abilities: to encompass those who want to develop their observational skills and artists who want to work independently on their own projects, build a portfolio, or refresh their skills.
Costs: £85
Days: 1 weekend

Carolyn Bew has a BA Hons in Fine Art and MA in painting from Central Saint Martins School of Art. Carolyn has a broad experience in the teaching of art and design across both HE and FE sectors including ten years at Chelsea College of Art. Carolyn has exhibited in a number of galleries in both group and solo shows.
