Acrylic Painting
Join artist and tutor Denise Harrison for a six-week acrylic painting course designed to build your confidence and skills in the medium. By exploring traditional painting subjects through a contemporary lens, you will gain skills and knowledge in composition, colour, paint application, and the creative use of gels and mediums.
Throughout the course, you will cover subjects including landscape, still life, figurative work, portraiture, and abstraction, while gradually developing your own personal style. Denise will provide individual guidance and feedback, helping each student to progress and refine their unique artistic voice.
In the last week, you will bring everything together by creating a final piece based on your chosen subject, applying the full range of skills and techniques you’ve learned.
This course is suitable for all levels.
Phoenix Art Space is a registered charity.
