A creative programme led by and for young people aged 13-25 years.

Phoenix Art Space is excited to be hosting a Youth Takeover called ‘Your Space to Make’ from Saturday 23 November to Sunday 1 December 2024.

Young people will take over our Main Gallery and transform the gallery space and windows with their own artwork. The space will also be activated by creative activities, workshops and events.

Highlights include:

• Oodles of Noodles and Doodles with Sinna One: 2-4pm on Saturday 23 November
• Creative Smartphone Photography with Lindsey Smith: 4-6pm on Tuesday 26 November
• Open Session – From page to post: Archiving Creative Voices: 6.30-9pm on Wednesday 27 November
• What Comes Next? with Daniel Locke: 4-6pm on Thursday 28 November
• Youth-led workshops with Art in Mind: 2-4pm on Saturday 30 November

Throughout the week there will be table tennis available for everyone to play, a chill out space with sofas and music, plus a selection of snacks.

Please note: this programme is specifically for young people aged 13-25yrs, but people outside this age group are welcome in the gallery. Children under 13yrs old must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Children aged 13-18yrs will be asked to provide an emergency contact number on arrival.

Open: Wednesday to Friday, 12-7pm. Saturday and Sunday, 12-5pm
