Trash to Treasure

Exhibition & Workshops

ABOUT

An exciting collaborative project between Sussex-based artists and children, showcasing the imaginative possibilities of creating with junk!

This exhibition will showcase the work of over 100 children from 4 different primary schools (Hertford, Elm Grove, Woodingdean and Carden) who attend Out of the Box after school clubs. Children have been working on projects inspired by 4 Sussex-based artists who work with recycled materials. The children have the unique opportunity to see their work exhibited alongside the work of these artists, in a professional gallery space. This project celebrates resourcefulness, imagination, creativity, ingenuity and collaboration. Steve Bannatyne is an abstract artist working with reclaimed and waste materials, based near Lewes.
