ABOUT
Phoenix Art Space is proud to present Home to My Teenage Bedroom, an exhibition by Grant Foster.
Revisiting his teenage bedroom as a formative creative space, Foster explores how early obsessions and visual influences shape artistic expression. His works, which includes paintings and collages, draw from a personal archive of materials, including newspaper clippings, advertisements, and fragments of text, layered together in dynamic compositions that are at once wistful and anarchic.
With a mix of humour, historical references, and poignant commentary, Home to My Teenage Bedroom invites viewers to reflect on the intersection of past and present, analogue and digital, and the power of images to shape meaning over time.
Join us for the exhibition preview on Friday 28 February, 6-8pm in the Main Gallery. Sue MacLaine, British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter will be present for the speeches at 7pm.
We welcome group visits but if possible please let us know in advance.
