Family workshop: Unquiet Woman

Family Workshop

ABOUT

Join artist Ella Hempsted for a creative family workshop inspired by Unquiet Woman, an exhibition celebrating the work of Monica Ross. Taking ideas from the banner sculpture on display in the exhibition, families will explore what home and family mean to them. Together, you’ll use collage, printmaking, rubbings, and textiles to create your own unique panel. At the end of the session, all the panels will be stitched and bound together to make one large collaborative banner, made by everyone!

Our family workshops are for children aged 5yrs+ to enjoy being creative together with their parents / carers. Artist-led and inspired by the themes of our exhibition programme they are a great opportunity to have fun and explore different materials. All workshops are free and drop-in so there’s no need to book.

This workshop is part of the Unquiet Woman exhibition programme, more info here.
