Get to grips with colour with artist Emily Jolley

Develop a stronger understanding of colour in two focused sessions. Through a series of practical exercises exploring colour mixing and layering, you’ll learn how to observe, describe and recreate the colours you see using your paint box.

Suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience.

 

Materials

Watercolour paints and paper will be provided. If you have a watercolour brush, paint box or paints please feel free to bring them with you.

Emily Jolley is a trained painter having gained a degree in Fine Art at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle . She has been running art classes and workshops for many years in Brighton, Portsmouth and Greece. Her work was selected in The Sunday Times watercolour competition to be shown at the Mall, London. Emily’s practice is based at her studio in Phoenix Art Space.
