Phoenix Art Space is delighted to announce that Dionne Elizabeth has been selected for the 2025 Phoenix Studio Award. The Phoenix Studio Award offers one year of support through rent–free studio space and other opportunities, to artists from under-represented groups and who experience intersecting forms of discrimination.

Dionne is a transdisciplinary artist, researcher, ethnographer, spacemaker, writer, teacher, facilitator, DJ, creative producer, somatic + embodiment explorer and human Being.

Entwining art, care, sound, ecology, somatics, embodiment, ritual, ethnoautobiography, archives, text, mark making, drawing, painting and social practice, she focus on accessible, inclusive, sustainable and socially-engaged practice, sensory-led Spacemaking, community building installations and experiences locally, regionally, internationally and online.
