Part of the Brighton Art Book Fair programme, join artist Daniel Locke for a beginners bookbinding workshop. Using simple binding techniques such as saddle stitch and pamphlet stitch, and exploring different paper types, families will be guided through the creation of a unique softback journal or sketchbook. The emphasis is on fun and creativity and everyone is welcome to join in.

Our family workshops are for children aged 5yrs+ to enjoy being creative together with their parents / carers. Artist-led and inspired by the themes of our exhibition programme they are a great opportunity to have fun and explore different materials. All workshops are free and drop-in so there’s no need to book.
