We are Seeking an Artist Trustee
Phoenix Art Space is seeking an artist of national and/or international renown to bring the immense value of their expertise, credibility, and network to our creative community. Your first hand experience of artistic practice, in or out of the studio setting, will ensure our charitable initiatives align with the needs of artists and remain socially informed. As well as connecting us to a wider art sector and collaborators, your presence will also inspire greater creative ambition, providing a tangible link between success and the support systems that foster artistic growth. You will share our values of collaboration, sustainability, diversity and inclusion and social responsibility, and be similarly committed to our ongoing work to reflect the city in which we are home.
Our artist trustee will support the Phoenix team by joining our Board of Trustees. They will share their expertise and guidance to help Phoenix work towards its vision and goals. They will attend 4 board meetings per year, be present at key events and exhibitions and support the Board of Trustees and staff with their planning and fundraising. The time commitment for the Artist Trustee is approximately 7 hours per month.
