Life Drawing with Watercolour
As our primary source of perception and expression there are many rich layers to our understanding of the human body to explore through drawing and painting. This weekend gives you the opportunity to do just that over sustained period of time with a mix of short and long poses. For this weekend there will be a focus on painting with watercolour and the possibilites that can be explored using this particular medium.
Previous experience of life drawing is desirable, although not essential.
N.B. We also have an Afternoon Life Drawing course here and an Evening Life Drawing course here.
Some limited drawing materials will be provided. Please bring your own set of watercolour paints, brushes and paper. Advice can be given in advance of the course on request, please email chloe@phoenixbrighton.org who will contact the tutor on your behalf.
Carolyn has a BA Hons in Fine Art and MA in painting from Central Saint Martins School of Art. Carolyn has a broad experience in the teaching of art and design across both HE and FE sectors including ten years at Chelsea College of Art. Carolyn has exhibited in a number of galleries in both group and solo shows.
