Role: Operations Assistant, 21 hours/week, permanent, £12,600 per annum pro rata (£21,000 FTE)

Phoenix Art Space is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our small and dynamic staff team. The Operations Assistant is the first point of contact for anyone wishing to hire our temporary spaces on the ground floor and is an important role as the link between venue hires and our other activities. Evening and weekend working will sometimes be required.

The role incudes: Maintaining the Front of House area, welcoming visitors, updating information, and organising the spaces, helping with rotas, timetables, and sales. Assisting with promotion and coordination of our ground floor spaces, building relationships with current and potential venue hire clients. Providing administration for contracts, ensuring risk assessments are conducted, insurance in place and payments made. Setting up spaces for venue hire, arranging access and storage, and advising on technical issues. Assisting with maintenance of ground floor workshops for arts courses and events.
