We are delighted to announce that we have selected Sara Paowana as Phoenix Art Space’s finalist for the Platform Graduate Award 2023.

Sara exhibited her sculptural installation Exported Goods in the Project Space this September – October. Made from rice and painted clay, and occupying the central space of the gallery, it was particularly popular with visitors for the quality of the work and the conversations it inspired. Congratulations to Sara and the other Platform finalists, Charlie Buurman-Davies, Leilani June, Zahra Khanum and George Marrington.

The winner of the Platform Graduate Award 2023 will be announced in an online presentation taking place on 2 December with artist and guest judge Laura Ford.
